Yes, this is a scary thing. Obama has already according to Glenn Greenwald, made  the War on Terror permanent (http://m.guardiannews.com/commentisfree/2012/oct/24/obama-terrorism-kill-list?cat=commentisfree&type=article). This law (the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, esp. section 1021) is treason against the American people I’d argue, no doubt.
